The aroma is intriguing. There are clean fresh hops dominating the nose, but spicy yeast and subtle hints of citrus zest, candy sugar and cut grass follow quickly behind.
Musty barnyard notes lead off and linger at the top of the palate. It's funky and tangy as hell and very versatile with flavors of plant roots, earthy soil and a little bit of fruit and clove, along with some Belgian yeast. The Brett flavor is pretty mild.
It's light to medium bodied with a full, average carbonation level. Good stuff overall and a great beer for spring and summer.
