Special Occasion Beer
The presentation is flawless - cloudy, light goldenrod hue with a large effervescent head. The fruity aroma is also quite amazing with apples, lemons and grainy notes.
The taste starts off sweet with honeysuckle and pear, backed up by sweet malts which then turns to a spicy, somewhat dry finish. The mouthfeel is satisfyingly fizzy and very dry.
The alcohol is reasonably well-covered for the abv. It is radically expensive for a beer (likely a reflection of the labor intensive production). A champagne alternative for special occasions, this classy, bold Biere Brut pairs well with seafood and lobster.
