Many cities know how to put on a beer festival, but Hollywood knows how to put on a beer production.  Paramount Studios in Hollywood near Stage 25 and 26 was home to this years Septemberfest - America's answer to Octoberfest. 

I arrived at the San Diego Festival of Beer in downtown San Diego on Friday, September 18th, on the corner of Columbia and B Street, near the W Hotel.  The two girls at the front table directed me to security around the corner, because I wasn't on the list.  After informing them that I was press, and supposed to be on the list, they directed me back to the table with the girls. 

Guinness will celebrate its 250th anniversary in style on September 24th. Some of the biggest names in music (including the Black Eyed Peas) will perform live in the heart of the St. James's Gate Brewery, the home of GUINNESS®.

So, last night was a good night.  It’s not every day that you go to a two Michelin star restaurant in Los Angeles paid for by a company, whose employees are not even there.  We were there to ‘test drive’ the menu for a future company outing.

It was hot. The kind of hot where you just want to float in a lake with an ice, cold beer.  The Irvine Lake wasn’t open for swimming or ‘beer floating’ as I like to call it, but luckily there was plenty of cold beer from Orange County and 60 other domestic and international brands. 

The 1st Annual Trump National Wine and Beer Festival was held on Sunday, August 16, 2009.  Approximately 50 wineries and micro-breweries were in full force on the grass.  The famous golf club provided for an amazing backdrop on the cliffs of Palos Verdes.
